Dr. Noel received his MD degree and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Sherbrooke in Canada. He completed a fellowship in hematology and was a foundation scholar at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Noel is the chair of the Scientific Committee for the Board of Directors at Blood Systems and leads the Military Medicine Initiative at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
Dr. Noel developed the myeloid research core at the National Institute of Health (NIH) Warren Magnuson Clinical Center Department of Laboratory Medicine. The focus of the laboratory was eosinophil and mast cell disorders. He has sixty-nine peer reviewed articles, sixteen book chapters, and sixty-four published abstracts related to his fields of interest.
