Please join the Atlantic Council’s Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security for the public launch of the report “All Elements of National Power.” This report provides a reorganization strategy for US Combatant Commands to more effectively deal with twenty-first century challenges in an era of austerity and strategic turbulence. This report provides new analysis and key insights into the issues associated with rebalancing our national instruments of power, and provides a framework to move forward with a synchronized and coordinated interagency approach from initial planning to execution in order to deal with these myriad challenges.

“All Elements of National Power” is the result of the deliberations of the Atlantic Council’s Combatant Command Task Force, which is chaired by James L. Jones Jr., former national security advisor, commander of USEUCOM, and commandant of the Marine Corps. The Task Force is comprised of a bipartisan mix of former Combatant Commanders, Joint Staff, national security advisors, former assistant secretary-level officials, ambassadors, defense and national security experts, and business and military leaders. The report serves as a summary of the insights, analysis, and recommendations developed by the Task Force and its members.
