The Foreign and Defense Policy of Arms Exports to Asia
By THE BRENT SCOWCROFT CENTER ON INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
As part of the National Military Strategy, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey recently emphasized the need to strengthen US alliances and deepen security relationships with key partners in Asia. As arms sales will inevitably play an important role in achieving these goals, the Corporate Strategy Forum met to discuss how public policies shape companies' business development initiatives to expand sales in international markets.
The Corporate Strategy Forum convenes chief strategists of transatlantic companies in aerospace, defense, security, and government services for a private roundtable discussion about issues confronting the long-term health of these industries.
