The East African quotes Africa Center Director J. Peter Pham on the upcoming US-Africa summit in Washington: 

“The cookie-cutter approach doesn’t work,” said J Peter Pham, head of the Africa programme at a Washington think tank.

“The concerns of Kenya with a dynamic economy and a troublesome neighbour to its northeast are very different from those of Sao Tome or Cape Verde.”
