We must strengthen the capacity of investment in scientific and technological infrastructure of the country, and that strengthening should be combined with better coordination with the private sector towards public research on commercially viable topics.  It is not enough to rely on academic research and development; there must be close links and coordination mechanisms between the business world , academia, and researchers.”
