Rafik Hariri Center Nonresident Fellow Aaron Stein joins The American Interest podcast to discuss Turkey’s nuclear future following the Iran nuclear agreement:

We’re then joined by Aaron Stein, nonresident Fellow with the Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East and Doctoral Fellow at the Geneva Center for Security Policy, to discuss what effect the recent agreement with Iran is having on Turkey’s nuclear future. He notes that while many analysts seem to be expecting Turkey to increase its nuclear capabilities in the wake of that Iran deal, the country has a long history of non-proliferation and isn’t likely to head in that direction. He then broadens the discussion to examine what Turkey’s role is in the region, and how it’s being affected by the Iran deal.
