Debra Greenspan is a senior vice president at The Glover Park Group (GPG), a leading strategic communications firm based in Washington, DC. At GPG, Debra co-leads the firm’s Energy & Sustainability practice, developing and executing comprehensive, creative communications strategies designed to help clients achieve reputational, legislative, and regulatory goals.

Debra has spent more than a decade working with the world’s leading international climate change advocacy organizations, major US utilities, renewable energy companies, and consumer brands to shape the conversation around climate, sustainability, and energy. She has planned and executed major campaign rollouts; designed and launched digital channels; established executive thought leadership programs; and coordinated communications around major national and international events and conferences. She combines a deep issue expertise with an extensive network of relationships among global media focused on issues of climate and energy. Debra has also led numerous clients through crisis and other complex communications environments.

Prior to joining the GPG team, Debra worked for Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) in his DC Senate office and then on his presidential campaign. Debra holds a BA with honors in public policy from Brown University.
