Minilateralism: A New Book from Atlantic Council Expert, Chris Brummer
Dr. Chris Brummer, the Atlantic Council’s C. Boyden Gray Fellow and Project Director of the Transatlantic Finance Initiative recently released his new book on global trends in trade and finance, Minilateralism.

Minilateralism
In the book, Brummer explains how strategic trade alliances, informal agreements, and financial engineering are powering today’s economic statecraft. “Moving from the regulation of coins in medieval Europe to today’s international money supply and the rise of the Chinese RMB, and from Venetian trade strategy to today’s WTO,” Ethiopis Tafara, General Counsel of the IFC observes, “[f]ew books tackle so many topics so clearly and elegantly, and bundle them into one compelling narrative.”
