On May 10, 2016 the Atlantic Council partnered with the Corvinus Society for Foreign Affairs and Culture to host a roundtable discussion on The Visegrad Group: Anchoring the NATO Alliance?

In 2016, the Visegrad Group celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of its formation. While the geopolitical environment in Europe has evolved significantly since then, strengthening security and solidarity among the Visegrad four (V4) remains a strategic imperative. Given the serious threats NATO faces to its east and south, as well as fracturing European unity, experts from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic joined the roundtable discussion to address these issues and outline V4 priorities for the NATO Warsaw Summit in July.
