Financial Inclusion: A Powerful Tool for Powerful Women

April 20, 2018 - 9:00 am

1030 15th Street NW, 12th Floor - West Tower Elevators
Washington, DC
Please join the Atlantic Council on Friday, April 20, at the Atlantic Council's headquarters in Washington, DC for a crucial discussion on the topic of women's inclusion in finance.

Women’s economic empowerment makes ethical, social, economic, and business sense – yet more than 40 percent of women and girls worldwide remain outside the formal financial system. Despite recent progress in financial inclusion rates in general, the gender gap is still considerable and reluctant to improve.

In the context of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, the Atlantic Council's Global Business & Economics Program invites you to join us at the Atlantic Council on Friday, April 20 for a discussion on the power of financial inclusion and the opportunities it creates.
