Urban Innovation at Home and Abroad

More than half the world’s population lives in cities and this number continues to grow. The rural-to-urban transformation creates challenges and opportunities for humankind.

Please join the Atlantic Council, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, UN-Habitat, and other partners on February 4, 2014 for the Washington, DC launch of a national series leading up to World Urban Forum 7 in Medellín, Colombia, in April 2014. Domestic and international public- and private-sector speakers will compare their innovation experiences and offer recommendations for capitalizing on urban investments.
