On February 17, 2022, John Chen testified before the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission on “China’s Cyber Capabilities: Warfare, Espionage, and Implications for the United States”.
John Chen is a nonresident fellow in the Global China Hub. He is also chief of data solutions and a lead analyst at Exovera’s Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis, where he works on foreign policy, national security, and S&T issues using Chinese-language sources. His current research interests include Chinese cyber and information operations. He holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Georgetown University.
