Nyka Aukstuolis is an Assistant Director at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) based in Washington D.C.
Nyka has over 13 years of experience working in U.S. Government, non profit organizations, academia and international development. She most recently worked as a government contractor in international public health development. Nyka is interested in how disinformation shapes public health issues, and Russian information influence across the Baltics. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University and is completing her masters degree in Public Health from the University of Cape Town.
Nyka prides herself on being able to have had Congressional experience working on both sides of the aisle. Her skills include policy analysis, drafting congressional legislation, research, project management, project development, monitoring and evaluation, and data analysis.
