New Vision highlights a discussion hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center, moderated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sam Kuetesa, on the United Nations and Uganda’s role in Africa: 

On his visit this week, Kutesa also held a moderated discussion at the Atlantic Council of the United States, where he shared information and views on the important work of the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, and peace and security issues in Africa.

Some of the participants included Johnnie Carson, Senior Adviser to President Obama; Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Department of State, Ms. Amanda Dory, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence, and Mr. Carter Ham, Former AFRICOM Commander.
