CHICAGO, IL – The Atlantic Council Global Energy Center will host its inaugural Veterans Advanced Energy Summit on Tuesday, August 13 in Chicago, Illinois. The Summit will feature cutting-edge presentations and conversations at the intersection of advanced energy and national security. 

The Summit will feature business and military leaders, policymakers, and others with insight into where energy markets and energy technologies are heading, and how clean energy development impacts the economic competitiveness and national security of the United States. It will also highlight the role of veterans in energy, and will open doors to new career opportunities. Any and all interested individuals are welcome to attend the Summit. Thanks to the generosity of Exelon Corporation, more than 40 travel scholarships were awarded to veterans, active duty, reservists, and military spouses from around the country to enable them to attend the Summit

The Veterans Advanced Energy Summit is open to media upon accreditation. Registration can be completed HERE. The event opens with a breakfast at 8:30 a.m., with programming running until the end of the day, followed by a reception at 4:00 p.m. Dress code for the event is smart casual.
