The book endeavors to give a taste of the intricate and multifaceted energy challenges facing our communities in the Eurasian space. With this book and year-round activities in the context of its Eurasian Energy Futures Initiative, the Council hopes to help facilitate a constructive and productive conversation on these issues in and with the countries of Eurasia, Europe and the United States. We do this with the ultimate goal of promoting peace and prosperity, boosting Europe’s energy security and shaping an ambitious transatlantic agenda on Eurasian energy matters of strategic interest.
