Sophia Busch is a program assistant at the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center. In this role, she supports the center’s events and research at the intersection of economics and foreign policy. Busch helps oversee and serves as an editor for the center’s newsletters including Guide to the Global Economy and Current Account. She was previously a young global professional for the center. Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, she worked for the economic section of the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the offices of the US Trade Representative.
Busch holds a bachelor’s degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, graduating with summa cum laude honors as a presidential academic scholar.
