Middle East Strategy Task Force (MEST) Co-Chairs Madeleine K. Albright and Stephen J. Hadley led an Atlantic Council delegation to Riyadh on February 16 and 17 to consult with government officials including His Majesty King Salman, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, and Education Minister Ahmed al-Issa. Albright and Hadley, who were joined by Atlantic Council CEO Frederick Kempe, also met with Saudi innovators and members of the business community. The delegation additionally visited the MiSK Foundation, where they heard from a group of youth entrepreneurs.

MEST is a bipartisan Atlantic Council initiative to try to better understand the underlying dynamics of current crises in the region and develop a long-term strategy for supporting the people of the Middle East in building a stable, prosperous order.
