Ukraine today is an unpredictable place. Thousands of Ukrainians have taken to the streets in Kyiv calling for a European Ukraine. As Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland has said, “This is Ukraine's moment to meet the aspirations of its people or disappoint them…Democratic norms and the rule of law must be upheld."
