America’s Role in the World
with Tulsi Gabbard

Representative, 2nd Congressional District
US House of Representatives

As a freshman representative, Gabbard quickly established herself as a rising voice in the Democratic party. Having served in Iraq, Gabbard has a unique perspective on how the United States may responsibly promote peace in the world. During her address, Gabbard will discuss a strategy for the United States in an increasingly turbulent global environment amidst the current presidential election debate. Her remarks will be followed by a moderated discussion and an audience Q&A session.

This event is part of the Atlantic Council's Strategy Initiative and the Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security's flagship series, "America's Role in the World." The Strategy Initiative seeks to encourage and support a more constructive and substantive public dialogue on US strategy in a complex and dynamic world.
