Roundtable on Strategic Thought in Government with UK MP Delegation

On Wednesday, February 29th, the Atlantic Council’s Program on International Security hosted 5 Members of Parliament from the United Kingdom’s House of Commons for a brainstorming session on improving strategic thought in government.

The delegation of MPs, led by Conservative Bernard Jenkin, are members of the United Kingdom Parliamentary Select Committee. They visited the Atlantic Council during a trip to Washington to learn lessons from how the United States conducts strategic thought in government.

The other members of the Parliamentary Committed included Alun Cairns, Paul Flynn, Kelvin Hopkins, and Greg Mulholland. Director of the Atlantic Council’s Program on International Security, Barry Pavel, hosted the delegation and moderated the discussion.
