USA Today cites the Atlantic Council for hosting an event with General Lloyd Austin:
Army Gen. Lloyd Austin, commander of U.S. Central Command, did not confirm that Drugeon was targeted but said the Frenchman was a leader in the Khorasan Group.
“Anytime we can take their leadership out, it’s a good thing,” Austin said Thursday at the Atlantic Council. “We’re still assessing the results of those strikes.”
