On November 6-7, 2025, the US Department of Energy, the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Greece, and the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center will convene the sixth meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC)  gathering public and private industry leaders to discuss energy security and affordability, infrastructure projects, and investment opportunities live from Athens, Greece. 

P-TEC is the flagship platform for energy ministers and delegations from Central and Eastern Europe to work cooperatively with the US Department of Energy, other US agencies, and the private sector to address energy issues in Central and Eastern Europe.  The sixth ministerial meeting will focus on European energy security, affordability, and reliability and will feature panels focused on artificial intelligence; the Vertical Corridor; the security (including cybersecurity) of energy infrastructure; the mobilization of investment in energy infrastructure; and nuclear technology and fuel diversification. 

The sixth ministerial will begin with a business forum on Thursday, November 6, which will provide an opportunity for high-level public and private industry leaders to discuss energy security and reliability as well as the link between energy affordability and economic competitiveness. The P-TEC Ministerial meeting will take place on Friday, November 7, and will highlight the role of liquified natural gas in supporting European competitiveness and growth as well as strategies for improving grid connectivity and security. 

New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted.
