Anupama Tantri is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Climate Resilience Center. She brings over two decades of experience in infectious diseases and vaccines, emergency preparedness and response, healthcare financing, and environmental health threats.
She served as Executive Director of Global Public Policy for Merck, and as Public Health Advisor and later Chief of Staff with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Tantri also has previous experience with the Sabin Vaccine Institute where she led the Asia-Pacific portfolio.
Tantri holds a Masters from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor from Oberlin College.
