On Tuesday, September 2, at 4:00 p.m. ET, the Indo-Pacific Security Initiative (IPSI) of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security will host a seminar on engaging US and international audiences on the potentiality of an invasion of Taiwan by the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
This event is part of IPSI’s Cross-Strait and Beyond Seminar Series, which informs the public debate on key issues for Taiwan and the United States, held in partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States.
As the PRC undertakes an unprecedented military buildup, it is more critical than ever for allies and partners to address the mounting threats currently facing Taiwan. This seminar will feature the executive producer of Zero Day Attack, a forthcoming television series depicting a fictional People’s Liberation Army invasion of Taiwan, in a discussion on how compelling strategic communications can play a key role in bolstering whole-of-society resilience, sustaining Taiwan’s will to fight, and mobilizing domestic and international public support for Taiwan’s defense.
This conversation will take place virtually on ACTV and YouTube. To RSVP, please register via the registration box on this page.
