Ghita Benabderrazik is a 2025 Millennium Leadership Intensive participant and an investment professional with fifteen years of experience driving climate and infrastructure investments across emerging and developed markets. As innovative finance director at The Rockefeller Foundation, she leads the origination and execution of high-impact climate investments that mobilize private capital for the benefit of people and the planet. Previously, Benabderrazik held senior roles at the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank, where she structured credit enhancement mechanisms and transactions to help close the infrastructure funding gap in emerging markets across energy, transport and the water sectors. Earlier in her career at the EDF Group in Paris and London, she led major mergers and acquisitions  and project finance transactions in energy efficiency, hydrogen batteries, large-scale renewable, and nuclear energy projects, developing deep expertise in global energy sector dynamics. Originally from Morocco, she brings a firsthand understanding of the transformative potential of finance to advance sustainable development in emerging markets. She holds degrees in international strategy from ESSEC Business School and industrial engineering from INSA Lyon.
