Reimen Hii is a 2025 Millennium Leadership Intensive participant and president of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, an independent, nonpartisan, and nonprofit membership-based research institute that brings together people and organizations that have an interest in international affairs. He is an Australian barrister with a practice focusing on commercial litigation, public and administrative law, human rights, and public and private international law. He regularly appears in courts and tribunals throughout Australia, the South Pacific, and in South-East Asia. His previous roles include working at a United Nations–backed war crimes tribunal in Cambodia and as a registrar of the Supreme Court of Tonga.
