On Tuesday, November 18 at 2:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center and Rhodium Group will launch a new research report: “China’s economic slowdown and spillovers to Africa.”
China’s economic rise and global integration has catalyzed new infrastructure and industries in Africa, but now exposes the continent to negative ripple effects from changes in China’s domestic economy. This new report investigates how different projections of China’s economic growth and structure over the next five years will affect trade and financial engagement with the African continent.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time. Registration for this event will close at 5:00 p.m. ET the day prior.
