The Atlantic Council will host the inaugural US Caribbean Maritime and Ports Forum in Miami in February 2026, launching a long-term platform to advance cooperation, investment, and policy coordination across the US-Caribbean maritime space.

Ports play a central role in trade, energy security, tourism, and public safety throughout the Caribbean. As global dynamics shift, closer US-Caribbean collaboration has become increasingly important.

Building on momentum from the 2025 CARICOM heads of government meetings, the forum will convene leaders from government, ports, shipping, logistics, finance, and investment to focus on practical solutions for port infrastructure, maritime security, and regional cooperation.

This forum marks the first in a series designed to drive sustained dialogue and action.

Additional details will be shared soon.
