OnThursday, March 26, at 2:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Climate Resilience Center and Europe Center will host a fireside chat between the European Commission’s executive vice president for a clean, just, and competitive transition and co-chair of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy Teresa Ribera and former US EPA administrator and chair of America Is All In Gina McCarthy on the current state of international climate cooperation. They will also consider the economic advantages of the clean energy transition for citizens and the opportunities for collaboration between cities and local governments.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
