Sophia Lindgren

Sophia Lindgren is a visiting fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Democracy and Governance program at Georgetown University, where her research interests include democratic resilience, electoral integrity, and civic participation, with a focus on Latin America and the United States.

Lindgren has experience in student government and civic engagement organizations. She previously served as student body vice president at Florida Atlantic University, where she worked on student access and civic engagement initiatives. She currently serves in a leadership role at Young People’s Alliance, supporting youth-driven civic engagement and democratic participation.

Lindgren holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, with minors in Spanish and history, from Florida Atlantic University.
