On Tuesday, October 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center will host a discussion on how governments and humanitarian organizations can work together to advance child nutrition, education, and access to advanced technologies in countries around the world.
Most of the world’s 1.2 billion young people who will enter the labor force in the next decade live in emerging and developing economies, where access to proper nutrition, quality education, and advanced technology is most limited. In the coming years, improving livelihoods and access to opportunity in these countries will be critical both for human well-being and for international stability.
Headlined by US Special Envoy for Best Future Generations Charity Wallace, the event brings together leaders from the US government and humanitarian organizations for a conversation about how to best equip young people and future generations for success.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
By registering to attend in-person, you agree to abide by the Atlantic Council’s Event Code of Conduct.
