As the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations move forward, limited public debate exists on the details and merits of the agreement. Join the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center and Global Business and Economics Program on Wednesday, July 23 to explore the potential economic and geostrategic opportunities for the United States and Latin America if TPP is successful.

TPP now includes twelve member countries that represent 40 percent of global GDP, 26 percent of global trade, and 40 percent of US trade. However, many questions about the agreement remain to be answered. What future would the agreement create for Latin American countries looking toward the Pacific? How could TPP create new economic opportunities in the United States? And what would be the geostrategic consequences of failure?
