Please join the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center on Tuesday, May 16, from 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. for a fireside chat with TC Energy CEO François Poirier. Held as part of the Global Energy Center’s CEO Series, Poirier will share his vision for a reinvigorated North American strategy for energy security and global emissions reductions in a conversation moderated by Atlantic Council President and CEO Frederick Kempe.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine and increasing geo-economic tensions between the United States and China have underscored the geopolitics of the energy transition. In a new energy landscape defined by volatility in hydrocarbon markets, concentration on clean energy supply chains, and competition over leadership in innovation and new technologies, North America possesses an unparalleled advantage. In addition to substantial natural resources and world-leading technological expertise, the continent enjoys a strong trilateral partnership based on economic interests. In this new energy paradigm, how can the private sector advance a North American energy security and climate partnership for the benefit of not only North America but also its allies and partners abroad?
