AN AC FRONT PAGE EVENT—Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman discusses efforts to modernize financial regulation.

On Thursday, October 1, at 3:00 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council will host Michelle Bowman, vice chair for supervision at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, for an Atlantic Council Front Page conversation. Bowman also chairs the Financial Stability Board’s Standing Committee on Supervisory and Regulatory Cooperation. 

The financial system is changing rapidly as new technologies reshape banking, supervision, and risk management. At this event, Bowman will discuss US and international efforts to modernize financial regulation. 

New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
