Please join the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), in partnership with Friends of Europe, on Tuesday, April 21 at 8:00 EDT (14:00 CEST) for a 360/Virtual event focused on disinformation campaigns surrounding COVID-19 in Europe.

The COVID-19 crisis has exacerbated the vulnerabilities and internal divergence of the European Union, while foreign actors like Moscow and Beijing are exploiting the crisis to expand their influence in Europe, including through disinformation campaigns and propaganda. Experts from Italy, Spain, and France will join us to discuss the impact of foreign information operations targeting each country and explore recommendations on how to tackle them.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by Debating Europe.
