The Atlantic Council and Climate Advisers, in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), are pleased to invite you to participate in a private session of a high-level  dialogue focusing on new opportunities, paths and strategies for greater cooperation between the United States and Europe on climate change action. The session will be held on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. EST and will focus on how actors on both side of the Atlantic can achieve zero emissions in the transport sector.

This high-level transatlantic climate change dialogue aims to build on impressive progress made by the European Union and leading European member states to meet their ambitious 2030 targets and to begin a program of collaboration with the United States and Canada. To foster a rich conversation, each session will include around a dozen participants from each side of the Atlantic and will be off-the-record.
