Somewhat unexpectedly, the space sector has become the most dynamic corner of the aerospace and defense marketplace. From launch to spacecraft and satellite services, the structure of an industry that grew up around “big space” projects is being disrupted by businesses with new sources of capital and novel ambitions for how to employ space for social good and commercial gain. Five leaders in the space sector will discuss these dynamics.

The Atlantic Council Captains of Industry Series is a platform for senior executives in aerospace and defense to address the public interests their companies serve and the public policies that shape these markets.
