January 31 marks the day the UK will officially leave the European Union and begin its transition period. This will set up an 11 months negotiation to define the future UK-EU relationship. Dame Carolyn will offer remarks to open the discussion. In addition, the conversation will focus on the UK’s new role on the global trading stage and the future of the US-UK relationship ahead of a potential free trade negotiation.

We hope to welcome you for this timely discussion on February 5th. The Confederation of British Industry is the UK’s largest business organization, representing over 190,000 companies on relevant policy issues at a regional, national, and international level.

A light lunch will be served.
