Please join the Atlantic Council for a unique public conversation with French Defense Minister H.E. Florence Parly on the US-French defense relationship in a changing world. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Atlantic Council’s headquarters (1030 15th Street NW, 12th Floor, West Tower Elevators, Washington, DC 20005).

France, one of Europe’s leading military powers, has worked closely with the United States on common security challenges ranging from counter-terrorism to defense and deterrence in places from Syria to North Africa. Today’s evolving global security environment increasingly presents new challenges and opportunities for the US-French defense relationship in terms of operations, developing capabilities, and beyond.

In light of these questions, this event will feature a keynote address by Minister Parly on the future of US-French defense relations, followed by a moderated conversation and Q&A session.
