On Tuesday, February 11, the Atlantic Council’s WIn Fellowship will host an in-person and virtual discussion in Abu Dhabi on the future of smart cities and future of urbanization.

The United Arab Emirates has ambitious plans to transform its urban areas into resilient, smart cities, aiming to improve urban living efficiency. The country has advocated for sustainable, inclusive, and adaptable business models to achieve these plans, supporting businesses with ideas to improve the quality of life and the environment. These businesses and entrepreneurs have shaped cities such as Abu Dhabi, which is ranked the smartest city in the MENA region, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Masdar City.

This event will explore how entrepreneurship is accelerating the development of smart cities across the UAE and the wider MENA region.

If you are interested in attending the event in person, please email Nour Dabboussi ndabboussi@atlanticcouncil.org
