Angelika Dorvel is a 2022 Atlantic Council Millennium Leadership fellow and is Google’s global public policy lead for elections and information integrity in ads. She serves as the connective tissue between the ads product and the public policy team, working alongside product, engineering, business, and other teams across Google on product development and emerging issues impacting business and internet users globally, with a special focus on elections, information integrity, and COVID-19 response. She initiated and directed Google’s Ad Grants Crisis Relief Program, securing over $350 million in free COVID-19 ads for the World Health Organization and over one hundred governments globally.

Before joining Google in 2014, Dorvel served as a political advisor for both the European Union and Austrian delegations to the United Nations in New York City. She has previously worked at the Austrian embassy in Moscow and studied Russian in St. Petersburg. Dorvel earned her master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor of science degree in international business.
