Anne Wellde is a 2023 Millennium fellow and the national director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, a commitment by the Goldman Sachs Foundation to catalyze the growth of America’s small business community. Wellde is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to reach small business owners in rural and urban communities across the United States.

Prior to her current role, Wellde was the deputy director of the 10,000 Small Businesses program. Previously, she was the chief operating officer for a healthcare technology company focused on developing cancer therapies that align the clinical trial infrastructure available to patients. Wellde earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University.
