Arthur Simondet is a Senior Analyst at Cheniere Energy. He is a part of the global LNG Origination team on the Americas desk supporting and co-managing deal origination, business development and commercial structuring activities for liquefied natural gas supply purchase agreements. He focuses on integrated LatAm gas-to-demand opportunities and structured trading or portfolio positions. He primarily covers the Brazilian market but has power and gas market experience in Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. Arthur’s recent efforts involved originating the first physically-settled liquefied natural gas futures product together with CME Group and being on the executing deal team behind the Cheniere-Vitol LNG supply purchase agreement. Arthur received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in mathematical economic analysis from the University of Houston. He is a first-generation immigrant to French parents and grew up in Houston. Outside of the office he may be found traveling on or racing motorcycles in the Texas deserts and hill country.
