Baafour Otu-Boateng is a participant in the 2023 Climate Leadership Program of the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program and investment director at KawiSafi Ventures, an impact venture-capital fund focused on companies that enable low-carbon growth across Africa. Previously, he was investment director at Investisseurs & Partenaires, where he led investments in a diverse portfolio of African businesses active in renewable energy, technology, healthcare, agribusiness, and financial inclusion. Prior to that, he was a TechnoServe fellow in Ghana, and he started his career as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank in New York, where he advised some of the world’s leading retailers.

Otu-Boateng is board director and lead expert at the Impact Investing Institute and also serves as board director at World Vision International. He is an Eisenhower fellow. Otu-Boateng holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, where he was a Chevening scholar, and a BA from Williams College, where he was a Herbert H. Lehman scholar.
