Christian Osmeña is a 2023 Millennium Fellow and vice president for enterprise planning at Arizona State University (ASU), where he leads strategy and planning to advance ASU and the ASU Public Enterprise. Osmeña is also a professor of practice at ASU’s Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions and the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. He previously served as a vice chancellor for the California Community Colleges, an analyst and principal analyst at the California Department of Finance, and assistant to the chief of staff and deputy cabinet secretary in the California governor’s office.

Osmeña is a member of the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board and a former member of the UC College of the Law, San Francisco Board of Directors. He earned a doctorate in education from the University of California, Davis; a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California; and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. Osmeña is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
