Deea Ariana is passionate about helping developing countries achieve an equitable energy transition. She is an energy specialist at the World Bank, based in Washington, DC, where she works on electricity infrastructure development and access focusing on Africa. She holds a master’s in international economics and development from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She is also a member of the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET), where she serves as a mentor through the organization’s Women in Energy Empowerment Program. Deea has a love of traveling, art, and music, and is an aspiring polyglot.
