Dominique Ramsawak is the associate director of communications at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), where she develops and implements strategic communications to highlight research on disinformation, digital policy, and technology.
Before joining the DFRLab, Ramsawak was a junior innovation officer at the Netherlands Innovation Network in Boston, researching the impact of AI-generated disinformation and fostering partnerships between Dutch startups and US stakeholders. Previously, she led communications efforts at Living Water Community in Trinidad and Tobago, where she launched digital tools to improve information access for vulnerable populations. Ramsawak has also contributed to research on algorithmic governance and AI regulation during her time at the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
Ramsawak earned a master of arts in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, specializing in technology and foreign affairs, and a bachelor of arts in international studies from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She speaks English, Dutch, Spanish, and French.
