Ethel Rudnitzki is a nonresident journalist fellow in the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. Rudnitzki is a Brazilian investigative reporter whose work focuses on the impacts of social media.

Rudnitzki works as a fact checker and investigative reporter at Aos Fatos, a Brazilian news outlet focused on debunking mis- and disinformation and investigating digital platforms. Previously, she has worked at the nonprofit Brazilian outlet Agência Pública and as a fact checker for Truco—the first fact-checking project in Brazil. She has also previously worked as a technology reporter.

Rudnitzki has a BA degree in journalism from University of São Paulo and completed an academic exchange program at the University of Coimbra in Portugal.
