Isabel Mogstad is a 2023 Millennium fellow and BP’s federal policy and government affairs lead for production and operations, climate, and ESG. In this role, Mogstad develops and advocates policy and regulations that advance BP’s ambition of becoming a net zero company by 2050 or sooner, and supports the company’s business objectives in the United States.

Prior to joining BP, Mogstad worked at Environmental Defense Fund, where she supported the organization’s programmatic work with the oil and gas industry. She started her career at Schlumberger (now SLB), the world’s largest oilfield service company.

Mogstad graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in international relations and was named in both the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for energy and the Greenbiz 30 Under 30 list in 2019.
